Convert a basic chat call into ready-to-run code for your language, using the OpenAI-compatible Plugsky API.

The SDK Code Converter is a free page for adapting OpenAI SDK code to another provider. The pattern it documents is simple: keep the SDK and change the base URL and API key, in Python, JavaScript or curl. Existing calls, streaming and tool use continue to work without a rewrite. It is aimed at developers switching providers or adding a second one. No sign-up is required, and compatibility depends on the target provider supporting OpenAI-style endpoints.
If the provider implements an OpenAI-compatible API, usually only the base URL and API key change. Python, JavaScript and curl examples all follow this pattern. Provider-specific features such as proprietary tool formats or response fields may still need adjustments, so test the calls you rely on.
Model names, because each provider uses its own identifiers, and advanced features such as structured output, log probabilities or caching. Authentication headers are another common source of errors. Run your test suite against the new endpoint and check streaming behaviour before production.
Yes. Point the OpenAI SDK at the Plugsky endpoint with your Plugsky key and existing code works, including streaming, tool calling and JSON mode. Plugsky offers 30+ models, a free plan with 2 free models, and a 14-day full-access trial.
